Tuberous (Snoopy) Breasts

The normal breast should have radial symmetry. When there is scar tissue in one or more of the breast axes, the breast looks more tubular.

Tuberous breasts may be genetic, or may result from pregnancy, capsule formation, radiation or trauma.

Correction requires internal reconstruction with targeted relief incisions. After reconstruction, specific breast exercises are given to continue with post-surgical shaping.

Case 1: Tuberous breast appear like they’re being internally “pinched”. Once the internal scarring is corrected, the patient is instructed to continue with custom post-operative massage therapy, 10 reps, three times per day, for 9 months.
